Frantic multiplayer action you can enjoy online or with friends in co-op or competitive modes
Let me tell you, my family and I have become quite jaded, and downright skeptical, with local multiplayer brawlers/slashers/shooters in the past 5 years. The sheer force of numbers in the space have rendered most options almost impossible to differentiate from one another. But then, something special like SpiderHeck comes along that throws down the gauntlet and shows how it’s done. A wild variety of weapons from some crazy melee, to wild guns, to some outright scary devices you’ll want to throw down and then get the hell away from instantly spice things up. Even better? Since you’re all spiders your ability to move quickly is almost effortless, with a second press of the jump button in the air shooting off a webline that can then reel you in to any surface. Even better? Throw in an appreciation for gravity and the somewhat terrifying level of force some of these weapons give off when they fire and you’ll quickly learn that getting more powerful weapons doesn’t always equal domination. Best of all? Online, local, co-op, competitive, solo… the developers behind this title have thrown everything they could into making a great game and it shows.
