If you love light gaming with loose objectives and pups, this will have some appeal, but against some peers it’s lacking
There’s absolutely something very smart about this title that taps into the odd but somewhat glamorous pet-oriented fashion culture on social media. Snapping great pics of your pooch, and marketing them correctly, can mean big bucks, and this title grabs onto a piece of that spirit and tries not to let it go easily. While obviously this experience isn’t quite in that same vein, the spirit of that concept is here, with you going out and looking to take the best photos of the cutest dogs engaged in the most adorable activities, trying to break the internet with cuteness. All that said, reflecting on the likes of Pokemon Snap or even the just-released Alekon, by comparison everything here feels a bit more sparse and under-developed as a whole. I’m not sure whether that points to problems implementing more within time or other constraints, or simply having a bit less ambition, but despite all of the cuteness and charm it’s hard not to consider Pupperazzi from coming up a bit short overall.
