With some types of games, it’s actually a bit of a struggle to review them. For whatever reason what they promise is so simple or fundamental, that even when everything to do with the experience works well it’s hard to go crazy about it. Straight-up educationally-oriented trivia games like this one are a great example of that. The goal, whether you’re playing by yourself and just looking for a challenge, or with others, is to test your knowledge of trivia from places all over the world, and even spaces beyond. 

Does Bright Side: Quiz do this? Yes! Does everything surrounding the experience work reasonably well? Sure. Is it particularly exciting or full of value-added presentation elements that help elevate it above and beyond your wildest expectations? Not really. 

This is in no way meant to disparage what the developers have put together here, it’s simply a game that gives you precisely what it promises, but none of it is particularly exciting. If you’re looking to boost your trivia knowledge in these sorts of areas, or have a standing trivia grudge you’d like to sort out with some friends or family, this will happily help. If that isn’t what you’re looking for you’ll obviously want to keep rolling on to the next game in the queue though.
