If you’re down for a visual novel where you’re going to just be along the ride, involving a girl who lives in a town of ghosts, it delivers that
Hoo boy am I never quite sure what to make of, or how to really review, things that aren’t games so much as straight-up visual novels being “played” on a dedicated console system. If you’re here for something to interact with or show some agency to help drive you can already stop reading, this really is simply an experience you’re meant to take in as it comes. That said, it absolutely has an interesting visual style that compliments the odd circumstances your character finds herself in, interacting with ghosts and slowly working to realize the full picture of her situation. There’s a story here to be enjoyed, for sure, I just find myself torn on evaluating something not meant to truly be “played” in any meaningful way.
