An interesting take on strategy, featuring procedurally-generated maps and what can often be a formidable challenge
Procedurally-generated games with a twist? Sign me up. Growth's deceptively-simple premise hides an ambitious puzzle: how to expand your small ecosystem by carefully placing animals with unique abilities in the hazy areas around you. While the core gameplay clicks, I often felt a bit lost.Despite some initial explanations, key mechanics seemed to remain elusive, at times leaving me unsure how I achieved success or ended up in failure. This lack of clarity might be my personal blind spot, but it stymied my enjoyment. Strategy and puzzle aficionados will likely unravel Growth's mysteries, but its depth may alienate more casual players. It's an intriguing experiment, but its accessibility remains untamed.
