You’ll be pressed to tap into your 5-letter word vocabulary to solve the puzzles in this collection
With their no-frills interfaces, pretty quickly-looped music, and sometimes only minimal variations in how they’re played, the POWGI word games are a challenge to review in a variety of ways. They’re budget-friendly, may be sparse but their interfaces are clean, the controls are always just fine (though not much is being asked of them), and they will always require that you bring your mental dictionary to the table to tackle all manner of words from common to obscure. That said, as noted, they tend to share many elements with one another so if you’ve already got one of these titles they may not be identical by any means but they’ll likely feel related. If you’re a big fan of challenging word games though, they’re pretty well the best overall game in town on the system, with the choice of which one suits you best being far more a matter of personal taste than an obvious gap in quality between their titles. If you’re ready to flex your 5-letter vocabulary this will give you that opportunity, just keep in mind that there’s not much to the experience.
