While the fundamentals of the Lines experience haven’t evolved much, the addition of theming and loads of puzzles of various sizes has appeal
Among the various puzzle game series on the Switch the Piczle titles have always been colorful, well-implemented, and full of personality. This new entry in their Lines series is no different. While the core experience is roughly identical (though perhaps feeling a little more refined), this time around rather than just having a bunch of puzzles they’ve attempted to put in a little sort of story, accompanied by collections of themed puzzles, a few hidden secrets sprinkled about, and a little more variety in puzzles by size. While there’s already quite a lot of base content available, there appear to be additional free packs of seasonal puzzles to come (a batch of them just dropped for Valentine’s Day) as well as additional ones for purchase on the eShop. Another all-around great puzzle game that plays incredibly well in handheld mode.
