For older gamers like me, the Christmas season is a time to reminisce on classic holiday specials. A Charlie Brown Christmas is one of the most iconic of these, featuring the Peanuts gang, some classic gags, and plenty of holiday cheer.

This pinball table captures the nostalgia of the special with its theming, great music, and classic voice samples. However, the pinball play is a mixed bag. The table layout is unique, but it can be a bit of a mess. The middle area has several different spots to send the ball to, including one drop spot that the ball, sadly, often ignores too often. It just feels like a zone of the table the developers simply couldn’t get quite right.. There are some decent ramp shots on the right side of the table, and I like the pop-up ramp used to launch the ball for a lock. However, there are also a lot of misses, which makes for a middling experience.

Ultimately, this table is carried by how much you love the holiday classic. If you are a fan of A Charlie Brown Christmas, then you will enjoy this table. However, if you are just looking for a great pinball experience, you may be disappointed.
