There’s no doubt that when it comes to mid-to-high intensity games the eShop delivers a load of options. But what about people looking for something a little more low-key and soothing to simply enjoy rather than fight through? That’s where titles like Smushi Come Home are a refreshing option to have available, even if (by design) they’re not terribly taxing. You’ll be playing as a cute and simple mushroom, whisked away from his home and friends, who must chart their path back to them. What follows is a load of exploration and discovery, some fetch quest-y missions, some relatively light puzzles, and a pretty easygoing general vibe. Whether you’re a more seasoned gamer simply looking for a soothing break, a parent looking for a mild game to introduce your kids to with some training wheels of sorts, or simply someone who can find typical games overwhelming, this is a thoroughly pleasant choice to have available.
