A really cool and pretty high-concept idea that can lead to some fun and creative stories, but sometimes you can really get stuck
It’s always interesting to see the new concepts that can work quite well when people put their minds to it. Storyteller, in a pretty self-explanatory way, puts it to you to take a scenario specified in the title and then work with the elements you’re provided (location, people, etc) to construct a multi-panel sequence that conveys the story. Man meets women, falls in love, he dies, she’s heartbroken… that kind of thing. Much of the time this makes sense and there’s a good deductive process you can follow to get to the answer, sometimes requiring a bit of creative inspiration in what order the panels are arranged in. The tricky part is that ultimately these are puzzles though, and what absolutely may feel like an adequate solution won’t always be a match, and that can leave you in a bit of a lurch, confused over what it is you may have gotten wrong. If you’re looking for some creative storytelling and don’t mind some potential snafus in the specifics of the logic you may encounter, it’s a nice change of pace.
