As an adventure without a sense of adventure and a horror game without almost anything that’ll give you a scare, this struggles
If you’re going to bring indie games from a growing list of genres to the Switch you really need to be putting forth your best effort. In almost every area you can think of, True Virus is pretty pained to make any convincing claims that it has done so. The story is thin, the scares are limited in number and effectiveness, the puzzles range from rudimentary to feeling pretty obscure in their construction, and on the whole genre fans will likely feel that they’ve seen much of this before, and likely better. I can’t really think of any single area that stands out as being worthwhile, this just feels like a very “going through the motions” affair lacking in passion and pizzazz.
