As an old-school gamer nerd whose second home gaming system (my parents had Pong before that... ugh) was an Atari 2600 I have to say I'm pretty stoked for this. While returning to most of these games in their original form I'm sure is either dull or painful, tapping elements of them to make something new (ala NES Remix... BTW, Nintendo, WHERE THE HELL IS THAT AND ITS SEQUEL?!?!) in the form of smaller bursts could really help them pop and feel at least a little new again. Can't wait!
