Undeniably creative and having a very unique sense of style, Windosill is absolutely distinctive
Credit where it is due, starting up Windosill I was initially completely perplexed by it, not quite sure whether it was supposed to be a collection of “digital toys” or what I was supposed to be doing. I do wish it was made more clear that the goal to advance is always to trigger an event that produces a block, which you then use to unlock the door to the next level, but I came around to that eventually. Every level has its own style and conundrums as you’ll need to poke and prod at different objects to begin to understand how they’re to be used. On some levels this will come quickly, and on others you may find yourself a bit stuck. However, I was consistently at least entertained by the sheer creativity demonstrated in having so much variety, so many honestly unusual solutions, and the game’s very clean overall look. If you’re a puzzle fan seeking something that simply feels different than everything else out there this is an excellent game to consider checking out.
